Title: Lots of New Boyds Porcelain Dolls
Thanks to all the nice people that answered my ad on the BnB Classified want ads...I was able to buy many great Retired Boyds Porcelain Dolls. I am really happy with all my finds, I was able to purchase both 12" and 16" dolls. I'll list them here for everyone to see at a quick glance...they are also being listed on my website. Some I have Edition numbers for and some I won't have that information until they arrive. I have quite a few coming in on Monday the 11th of August and the others should arrive around the 14th to the 16th of August...2008.

We have sold most all of our Porcelain Dolls and only have 2 left in stock. We are looking for people that are willing to sell their 12" to 16" Porcelain Dolls at BELOW wholesale prices. The Dolls need to be like NEW with Original Box, Certificate of Authenticity and from a Smoke Free Home. Also if you have other Boyds Plush or Resin that you want to sell at low wholesale prices, please get in touch with us at dferrigno48@msn.com Just so you know upfront that we do pay rather low prices for the Boyds items. This is a great time of year to get rid of all that excess stuff that you don't need around your home any longer. Starting June 1st, Best Bear Shop will be Featured Store at Honey Creek Market. We are now in the process of putting all kinds of new items in our store for you to see. These items include lots of new Boyds Bears, Primitive Raggedy's, Wax Dipped Bears, Bowl Fillers, Candles, Bath items. You name it! We carry many great craft stores items. Best Bear Shop is in the process of putting some of Enesco Companies items in our store. Those are to come soon. Title: Boyds Bear Care
1. Bean Series: Follow steps 1 thru 7. Pull his ears up and press his nose down hard, flat against his chin. J.B.'s designer has meant the face to be able to be shaped...long and thin, fat and wide...Whatever expression you want...but the weight of the "Bean" filling compresses their little faces too much. So take the face and sqwoosh it around to form the shape you like...just as if it was made out of clay.
2. BRUSH his fur...The weight of the beans also compresses our "Distressed Antique Style Fur". All you have to do is get a regular hairbrush (or a dog brush works great) and brush his (or her) fur in the opposite direction from which it "grows". This will give you a fluffy little animal. OR BLOW...Boyds experts tell us that 3 minutes of blow drying with a hair dryer on hot is worth 10 minutes of brushing.
3. Work the beans around in his arms and legs. If you want an elbow joint, force the beans out of the elbow so it can bend. You can then pose him in all different positions.
4. Joints, if any of the joints are tight, it is because Boyds double reinforce them...hotd at the joint and move them and they'll loosen up.
5. Archive Series: Follow steps 1 & 2. Tisted Arms? Just twist em back!
6. Mustiness...remember that trip? Any mustiness will air out in a day or two...this comes from being shipped in tight containers where no air can circulate.
7. Eyes - some customers don't like not seeing the eyes and don't like thw hair over them. They prefer the more toy-like wide eye plush look. While we prefer the hair over the eyes sleepy look...So" Just rub your fingers around the eyeball and that will clear the hair off the eye or take a pair of nail scissors and trim the hair around the eyes to your liking. Be very careful when doing this, so you don't cut too much. This is true for any excess hair you don't like...around the nose, mouth, muzzle etc.
8. EXCEPTION! DO NOT brush your chenille bears. They will lose their curly appearance and thus be very sad little bears and then the head bean would be very disappointed in you!
